This animation was put together for a 2003 presentation at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. The animation details the assembly of a truss feature at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.

     I was told that the original was playing in the lobby of the Skidmore offices in 2004, so I returned to the project to re-animate and render it.

     The Virginia Beach Truss Assembly animation was modeled, textured, animated and rendered in Lightwave 3D.

     In 2003, the entire project took four weeks to assemble, two of those being dedicated to animation and rendering. In 2004, the animation and rendering took 5 days.
